Once the goods are in-store, RFID can assist  with replenishment and sales. It can also monitor the
location of goods, and the tagging of multiple garments or shoes means stock-taking time can be significantly reduced.

This system is carried out by passing a hand- held device near to the hung or shelved garments and the system registers the garments, signaling any irregularities, or a missing item. The same RFID label can also protect garments against shop-lifting, without the necessity of applying any other security tags which have to be removed at the moment of sale.
